Give Stocks, Bonds, Or Mutual Funds |
Gifts of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds are a great way to contribute to the Fund. If you have stocks or other appreciated assets that you have held for more than a year, making a gift of them may result in significant tax savings to you. Here is how it works: the Georgia State Conference gets the stocks or bonds; you get a tax deduction for the current fair market value of the stock; but you do not have to pay capital gains taxes that would have accrued if you had merely sold the assets. This is very good for your tax position, but, more importantly, you will be helping the Georgia State Conference to do its vital work. |

Give A Continuing Gift |
You can give a gift to Georgia State Conference every month, automatically. A gift of $5, $10, $20, $50, or $100 a month will add up to a significant amount for Georgia State Conferenece while not putting a serious strain on your budget. You can think of it this way, "Lets see, so much for rent, so much for food, so much for transportation, so much for social justice and equality." |

The Georgia State Conference can arrange to have your gift charged to a credit card or debited from a bank account. Please contact the NAACP for a monthly donation form to start your giving. You can cancel your gift at any time. |
